Trade me so I can have a 91 or 92 Z28
I have a 72 chevelle that I would like to trade for a 91 or 92 Z. I will comsider the right RS but it must be a V8. The chevelle runs and drives but does need paint and bodywork the fenders show the normal rust at the bottoms and there is bondo in the rear quarters. The engine is a 350 with a mild cam, polished highrise intake, edelbrok 650 carb. Turbo 350 trans has a mild slip in third gear. frame is good. interior is all there but front seat has a rip. this car is by no means a show car but it supplyed me with reliable transportation all summer and fall. It is not an SS. I like this car but it is not a camaro and every time i see one I wish I had one again.

Well it could use a paint job but from 10 ft away and from the pics you cant tell. I am going to have the front end and rear hatch re-aligned this spring cuz that bugs the hell out of me. It runs great thats for sure
The interior is ok I guess but the dash is cracked and I have been looking for a replacement but they are hard to come by around here
it tops the speedo out in 4th thats about 115 and you still got 5th left
I got the car for my 17th birthday and iam really attached but I love chevelles and the fact that I could trade for yours and stick it to my uncle for like 10 grand

Its the factory paint thats whats wrong with it...that crap is water based and doesnt look too great IMHO but the car isnt rusted at all
I think my uncle still has the original rims I will ask him about them
So how much rust is on that chevelle and hows the paint?

The bottom of the fenders are rusty and the trunk has some rust but other than that no more than you would expect for an unrestored car there is alot of bondo in the passenger side rear quarter. The paint is junk.

doood....you have no idea how interested I am in this car. Does it have a clear title? Where, if any, is the rust. How well does it run? Do you think it would make it to Springfield, IL without breaking down? Do you have any more pics you can send to me at e911rsq@yahoo.com ? Would you consider a trade for an older car with all the conversioin stuff to "make" it a 91-92? Would you consider a '92 RS V8 that had a minor accident and needs some work ?
I am totally serious about this man. Where exactly is the car located?

P.S. Is there any way I can call "dibs" on this thing??? I am totally interested and if a trade doesn't work, I would absolutly be interested in buying it outright....
If you are interested, I would even come down on the price of my '91 Z28 so that a partial trade of the Chevelle and $ would be workable for both of us....Winter prices we will call it....
