im lookin to buy a camaro project body must be in good condition mechanical state of car is no issue to me (roller blown motor or trans etc) im located in chicago want somthing close and only have about 1k to spend

 

I think I might be able to get you an 86 Camaro for that with a descent carbed 350 in it. I think 1k would take it or a little less. I will find out more for you.
Car is located just south of Downtown Indianapolis.

Holley 4bbl carb, jet kit, new choke kit, new steering wheel, 305 heads, said to be bored over .030", upgraded ignition, small cam, flowmaster muffler, k&n intake filter, high rise edelbrock intake mani, welded spider gears, interior seats for front and back new interior pieces, and a new hatch included the glass and rear shocks included but not installed aslo spare taillights, aftermarket wheels of a 'nugget' design, fiberglass hood.

no a/c, some electrical stuff dont work, interior needs to be swapped for the good stuff, trannsmission linkage needs fixed (its runs and drives, just wont sh*t out of 1st, and reverse DOES work), front windshield is cracked, and the car is primerd flat black, needs new tires, window tint faded, needs one new headlight housing. ALSO driver door needs fixed cant get it to open.

I do have the title.

Asking $1300 OBO negotionable, will take a good reasonable offer!

It's a 1984, the engine is a 1979 350 bored 30 over. 305 heads to bump up compression. Rebuilt about 3,000 miles ago. Heres what I did to it. New 488/510 lift cam 224/234 duration, new lifters, freshley rebuilt holley 600cfm carb vacuum secondaries, Quick fuel technoligies adjustable vacuum secondary housing, Mallory 65k volt HEI billet shaft distributor. It has a 700R4 trans. I put on a flowmaster muffler, it has headers, the intake manifold is an Edelbrock Performer RPM. The trans. works, but the shifter cable is busted at the shifter(I got pissed and busted it), and the throttle valve cable is not in correct adjustment, that is why it shifts weird. I was just gonna put a manual shift kit in it and a new shifter, and be done with it.

I know of a good 700-R4 that I could get dirt cheap. Kinda confused on if its a cable problem or in the trans.

I got a 89 GTA would need rear LCA's to make a roller. Clean IL title with SFC's no motor/trans have a 9 bolt rear I would take 650 for. Will also come with magnaflow 3" exhaust and cat delete pipe.
I am about 4-5 hours south of chi town, I-57 straight shot. West Frankfort area.

I do have the 700R (and I can put it back togeather too), but it needs a new control harness for it.
