I looked and didn't find an active role call for the Detroit Area/MI Thirdgens.

I know there are a few of them around, I was just wondering how many.
Just wondering what city your in year and Make.

I figured this can help us also if we need/sell parts.
I think it would be awesome to get a bunch of us together for a cruise as well..Thanks for looking and posting.

If you are from anywhere in Michigan please feel free to post as well...

i collect 91-92 camaros myself. you'll find a few of us in mt.clemens on wednesday nights for the crusie night when it warms up. wild woody's on gratiot on sundays in the summer.

camaro superfest is coming up the end of june which is in ypsilanti/ann arbor every year where you'll find plenty of thirdgens and newly returning is the f-body show at the tech center on 12 and dequindre this august.

there are not alot of active thirdgen michigan members here unfortunately, in fact there are maybe 10-12 tops on alot of the boards but they are around. most have gotten older and gave up on message boards.

i just get bored..

 

I`m from Lansing, we have a few third gens running around up here, but only a couple that post on message boards.

 

I'm in Davisburg and work in Wixom (next door to Novi). Down to my '87 Firebird Evoluzione project and my daughter's '84 Trans Am.

 

From Roseville. I've got a 84 TransAm. Just waitin for spring. Hopefully I will be Autocrossing, Drag Racing, etc. soon.

 

There are plenty of thirdgens around the state. We have quite a few over here in Grand Rapids.

 

I just got mine, She's tired and I'm poor. (shouldn't have even bought it.) So I'm gonna be real easy on her this year.

Next year might just be a different story though.

im from westland and im also parting out a 89 formula is anyones intrested in parts!

 

It's been a want of mine for almost 20 years, (ever since Dad brought home his 86 z) I think I'll hold on to it for a good long while. But if I see any around I'll keep you in mind.

UI have two friends that have them as well, in Rochester and CLarkston

 

Its a T-Type which is about the same with a splash of color.

 

Is Toronto too far away? It's only 3 hours down the road. I mean hell we drive 7 hours to go to Montreal for the weekend. What we burn in gas we make up for in cheap beer. lol

I'm actually in Flint for school right now, but I grew up in Southwest. I'm still down there on a regular basis. When I got my driver's license I spent countless hours in Garden City Park. But then that was many moons ago. My favorite chinese joint is on Cherry hill and Wayne.

Do you have a manual trans center console or fog lights??

no fogs and a auto trans console thats a lil fuct havent started selling parts yet or taking what i need (the 700R4 and the 305 and the dash) but ill have some pics here soon prob tues or sometime next week!

I know I'm looking forward to cruising. I will try to drive this camaro as much as I can this summer. My goal is to make it my summer(fair weather) daily driver to get some use out of it. Im going to keep an eye on the board for some cruises that I could attend.

 

i know a few places...telegraph rd at the 50s mcdonalds is pretty happenin during the summer...alot of fast american muscle there

 

Ive been to the 50's McD's a few times last summer, but without a car. I bought the camaro at the end of sept., and Im still in the process of putting my T back together.I planned on that spot this summer for sure. Its only about 15 min from me

 

i used to live in roseville i live in warren now right by macomb community. i had to much fun this winter (manage to introduce my quater pannle to a street sign) but im hopfully replaceing it and paiting my car after spring break. what color is your car im wondering if i ever seen you around?

That sounds like a good idea. Try for April/May, I know mine wont be out until all the salt is washed away

 

im in mt. Clemens. and meting up sounds like a sweet idea. mine isn't together right now.... i got it to the running stage but i have short or wire grounding out when ignition is on so im messing with that still

 

OK on that note May it is...
Mine needs new tires...the ones I have have drie rotted through and through so I am inactive for a while myself...

I also want to make sure all the freakin salt is gone for the year...

 

no dude i was 60 bucks short on payin it off and his stupid gf wouldnt let me take it home so now i gotta wait til april second....but the good thing is i just got my hands on a second 700R4 from my buddy so ill have one up for sale soon along with parts from my 89 formula parts car.
