Cool. What branch? Both my parents went to SIUE for civil engineering. I'm finishing up my undergrad at Rose-Hulman in mechanical engineering. I was looking into SIUE as well, but fell in love with Rose.

I'm gonna try to go for computer and electrical engineering, i need to get in gear with the math though its gonna be tough. I could do a dual major and it would only be 17 more credit hours to do both of those than if i only did one and it would just be the core classes no general stuff. I'm not for sure though, might just take electrical as a minor instead.

That's cool. The CPEs and EEs typically take more math than us MEs. A good friend of mine was able to switch from CPE to EE during his senior year and still graduate on time. One of the problems that he found with CPE is companies sometimes see you as a code monkey that writes software code rather than someone who wants to engineering computer hardware. You'll probably be able to tell what you prefer once you take some of the introductory classes, so I wouldn't sweat it too much especially since there is so much overlap.
As for me, it's looking like grad school at Ohio State is next on the horizon. This time around I should be able to get some sort of funding (teaching assistantship or research position) to cover all the expenses, but that's still up in the air.
