Who would come to a buildup party?

Ive been throwing around the idea of just throwing a party and building up my car. Alot of stuff needs to go in and I figure why not just buy an assload of food and drink and invite some board members over. This would require some work but I guarentee you a fun time. All of you food\drink\accomodations would be covered.
what needs to go in the 89RS:
-538hp 383
-TH400 swap with th400 specific swap suspension components
-TH400 swap specific driveshaft
-Ford 9"
I figure with enough alcohol, tools, food, and tires we could get this done in a weekend in spring... what do you all think?

Axle/Gears: Moser 9", 4.11:1
That would be cool, but I wouldn't be that big of a help. Sure would be a good learning experience for me though.

I'd be willing to help. I've done all those things you're talking about several times over so I might be able to hurry things up a bit.

Are you fuel injected or carbed? What have you done for fuel lines and fuel pump?

In that case maybe we'll just have a building party later because I will need to finish mine off too. It would be pretty cool to fire up two cars in one day

Me and a friend live an hour and half from chicago and would be interested. He is better at this than me, he built his from the ground up but I could help with little things. We would be interested of going it would be a learning experience. Laos I am considering putting a 383 in my car an wonder what you have in it? If you could share I would appreciate it..if not understandable.

Heh. The rate of progress on a project is inversly proportional to the number of people hovering around it. Plan on more than a weekend.. But the social interaction would more than make up for it.

I figure that with enough alcohol, we could "accidently" install it in the wrong car!

I'll bring the beer.

I justy happen to have the title to the "Wrong car". when will I need to show up lol.
actually it would be alot of fun. it would be really cool to see a long line of Trans Am's and Camaro's on the street in front of your house. I have just about finished up my engine swap which is pretty similar to yours. i just put in a 383 stroker,700R4 tranny, and a 3:27 posi rear disc axle from an 88 formula. anyone have 3:73 gears for me though. at one time my car was nearly completely stripped. no motor,no tranny,no rear axle,no front suspension,no inter b/c I was installing an 8 point roll bar, and of course no hood. I have it almost all back together now and just can't wait till spring. http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/84transam/ here it is just about done. next in line for work is the body but I need to pay off the parts that I just put into it first.are you far from Rochester Minnesota?? this would be a fun party to go to.

from Chicago and would love to come and learn a few things. If you need any car audio, alarm, or remote start installed, just ask. I've been doing that for 8 years. just something for me to contribute for the honor to show up.
