Just checking to see if anyone was near State College at all...

 

I'm in Carlisle but I get up to SC a good bit. I have a good friend up there and also my sister goes to Juniata College which isn't too far away either.

 

Cool... there's got to be more than that!

Demonspeed, I figured i would register here to let you know that
you are not alone in the Central Pa area. I'm from the other side of the Moutain near Petersburg. I work at Advanced Glassfiber Yarns in Huntingdon as a supervisor/engineer. Currently own a 2002 SS with all SLP options to include the 345 hp package. Its Black with black leather interior. I don't get to drive it very often because I work a real crazy schedule, 5pm-5am. I have two other beaters so the Camaro is mainly a garage queen.

As far as SShawn... You SOB! I wish I could have money to get an 02 with ALL options (Almost 40K right?)... but i'm 19, so my Stang is about all I can go with (it was a mere 8K though). Anyway, you have any pics?

State College here, well actually like 5 min out near Skytop Mt. Anyone ever go down to Beaver Springs? Me and a couple friends usualy go down about every other friday. I'm ridin in a black and red IROC, girlfriend has a red Vette with a greenwood wing, arnold is rolling in a yellow 80's Mustang with big 5.0 sticker on the back window, Dubbs has a blue and silver mustang wannabe (Capri), and a couple others. But yea we are all probably gonna be up at the McDonalds show the 29th.

Ahh I see. I'm looking to take my cars to the track sometime, just because I'm curious what they would run. I know neither will do anything special but I think it would be fun. Is Friday night like a test and tune kinda thing and is that what I want to go to?

 

Fridays are firday night street racing anyone can race on friday nights.

 

Excellent. What time does it start? Where can I find out all the rules and everything, like do you have to pass tech? I'm sorry for all the questions, but I've never raced at a dragstrip before and I'd really like to give it a try.

Edit: I decided to get off my lazy butt and I found their website. It looks like since both cars are inspected, liscensed, and have mufflers I'm good to go. Sounds like a fun time I may have to cruise up there in the near future.
