I'm from chester. I'd like to get together next summer definitely. I didn't even go to one car show this summer. I used to a lot when I was younger, now I had a reason to go, and I didn't. I finally got the car done, and now it's coming off the road tomorrow.
On another note, I did the most insane burnout in front of my house last night, and it felt better than drugs. It was the first time I did one in second gear. I just had to mention it, i'm not some ******* that does burnouts everywhere but I had to roast 'em especially since i'm getting new tires next year. And no i'm not looking for attention, I just love it. I feel like a jakazz for mentioning it, but i'm still buzzin from it.
I didn't even read all the replies, I couldn't wait to reply myself. I'd much rather hang out with people that would rather spend their money on their cars than drugs/drinking all the time.
My car isn't much of a looker, but she goes pretty good for my first build. I didn't have as much respect for the power until last night. Ok enough of my babbling.
PS: if anyone wants to buy my 4" cowl hood I need it gone, it looks ridiculous.

 

Lol noone is a jackass for lighting thier tires up on occasion .. my favorit is the 2nd gear drift i can get pretty easy with a little bit of wetness on the pavement. i guarentee you cant find on person on here who hasnt at least attempted to burn out. so keep in mind your in good company. some of us may be more mature about it..but hey even my father at 50 still likes to smoke my mom out in the passenger seat.

I know all of you were my age at one point (17) and ever since i got into a car i was trying to burnout lol.. aint nothing better than the smell of burnt rubber and the sound of your girlfriend coughing up a storm. keep in mind ive only got a v6. but dont knock it.. everyone is allways Ohh v6s are junk they lose to v8s hands down, heh. just the other day i out ran my friends 1989 Firebird with a 305 TBI, 0-40 holeshot races. i took him everytime. im not tryin to get that age old argument going v6s vs v8s. its hard to find people who are as into cars never the less our style cars in our region of Ny nj or PA. idk like to get something going in the area for fun. have like a bar-b-q and show off a little, give eachother tips and pointers. sound like a good idea?

Wassup guys. I would definately like to do a get together for us thirdgen people. Im giving my 87 TA back to my pops because I just got an 89 Formula. It should be painted and ready to go by springtime. So Im definately down for something spring/summer. Maybe a get together with a cruise night or something. Again Im in Newburgh.

 

If the times work out, i might be interested, i come down to LI on a montly basis so it sounds good to me!
