My T/A will be turbo completed in 1 month tops...I've upgraded my exhaust, LCA's, transgo shift kitted, mega shiftered, race cabled, I forget what else now.....Bought so many parts in a short time they all blend in now lol....My main mod for the winter (turbo) is all I worry about anymore...

I just picked the car up in october...
62-1 and the turbo setup is almost identical to the BBSdesigns race kit.....I used their header, turbonetics 62-1, deltagate(just for now), Blitz DD supersound BOV, summit shorty headers for the DS header. Ill be making my own charge pipes....Ill start off nonintercooled but by mid summer Ill be Intercooled.
As for the motor.....Its just a stock 305 that I will add 24# injectors and a chip but I do have a 350 in my garage that is going to be the monster to rule Troy.....

are you going to do the tuning yourself? if not check out www.lsracingchips.com, he's somewhat local to you. I believe one of the guys on www.youngstownstreets.com is selling an IC right now, check it out if you're looking for one.
how much boost are you going to run?

I plan on 6-7#'s on the 305.....approximatly 14 pounds on the 350...but of course I'll be running a different engine management system....I've really been reading up and really like the holley 950 setup.....as far as tuning....I'm not real over worried about it on the 305 with low boost so I found a guy that does chip burning
to burn me a chip...which will pretty much be whatever he does for boosted apps and allow me to use 24# injectors on the 305.
The 305 will be out of the car by november!!!!

i was looking to run 12 - 14 #'s on my intercooled setup. It's a ways off as my engine is just now getting built. But I'm building it with boost in mind. I also think I'm going to run the megasquirt with a 1200cfm 4barrel throttle body. I talked to you awhile back about bringing my car up there to have it tuned once it's done.

I'm really not too big on the 305....really I'm just wanting to turbo it to drive it for a bit while I'm building my boost motor and saving for my rearend, ECU and tranny......as far as tuning I was just going to swap the chip and run it..
As far as injectors go..I was going to run 30#'rs but i was told they would be a bit much for the 305....I'll only drive this car maybe 5,000 miles a year, tops. probly under 1000 on the 305. But if I can get good tuning and a descent amount of power out of the 305 for decent price it could stay in longer so I cansave a bit moreand put a currie 9" rear in the car......
If you have any suggestions email me @ mefarrell@tlna.com

I'm usually at tri-state most the summer. I won't make it out as much this year since my car is in pieces. but if your from the cincinnati area check out NKYFBA and GCFBA
i prefer the NKYFBA as they get together alot and a a bunch of cool people that are easy to get along with and will help you out if you need it.
I'm in middletown 1/2 hour north of you.

Avon OH checking in. 20 min West of Cleveland. Would rather live somewhere warmer, but Uncle Sam says I stay here for another few months, then go to Virginia Beach again. Oh well... I've been to the Avon Commons weekly show about 2 dozen times, and the Sheffield Lake Quaker show 2 times. I've had 8 3rd gens and am buying another tomorrow. Buying a 91 Z28 blue with grey int hard top auto, all stock. I also have another nice little Chevy that makes me really glad it hasn't snowed much this winter so I could get some break in miles on it. I just got it a few days ago. Here it is..

that's not even fair.... I want one!
anyway anyone need a forged crank for a 350? I'm selling all my stuff for my 355 and that's about all I have left lol. I'm going LSx territory instead. I'm still gonna turbocharge it though. The way prices are dropping on those motors it's hard to beat.

I agree on LSRacing Chips. He did my car and I passed the sniffer test only with a converter. I ditched the rest. Mods were a 383 TF heads & LPE219 cam.
He will also be tuning my GF's blown 355 in the spring.

I've lived in the Dayton area for the last 5yrs or so and the only pick-your-part place I've been to was out in Jamestown, and you had to call first to make sure the dude was gonna be out there.
maybe the folks over at http://www.dayton-fbody.com/ can help

It's going pretty good. THe place I'm at now isn't as "exciting" as the last one
I just have to finish routing the engine harness thru the fender & connect to dash, put on y-pipe, hook up the afpr (holley 4309 for like $35 off of e-bay), and going to get me a regular quad & hei so I won't have to worry about those silly codes
not too much really, oh, and a few wiring issues uder the dash, which I'll probably forget about when I get back.
maybe one day I'll have that thign on teh road more than 30 days (yay!!! no more **** e-check in dayton
)

Thought I'd drop a picture of the bird in here.
I have the Ground FX piece for the front, but I have no idea what to fasten it with. Just got my flip ups going today with a kit off evil-bay. The hatch doesn't close, so that's next. I took the rubber wing off and put tape over the holes until I can get them welded. Needs a few odds and end, but so far, so good.
