i live in the tri valley and i go to sears or sac. you can also go down to the old fremont drag strip and race there. its no longer there but there are many streets that have no through streets going through them over in oakland thats were we go or out in tracy
o and never do stupid **** on the street do it by ur self. try a gtech run and go at 3 am on 580 or 680 when there is no traffic just go in the slow lane stop and gas it like a raped pig

Ah Baylands! That brings back some memories.
I have a time slip from the very last drag race there. They even had to barrow a starting tree from Sears point because Bayland's was stolen the weekend before.

i heard that people have better 1/4 mile times in sac raceway because its closer to sea level. some people reported to be .5 quicker then sears point.

i dont like sac because it doesnt have all the new stuff like sears you hook better at sears but you wait longer at sears. also sears is like 50ft above sea level and sac is like 80 or something either way its real close together so that isnt really as important.
I like Sacramento. Takes me about 40-45 minutes to get there from Rocklin, Ca and it's generally a good time down there. Only problem is there seems to always be an overwhelmingly large crowd of import racers there. But, everyonce in a while you see a nice thirdgen there, standing alone, while most of the people are checking out the civics and whatnot. I would like to see your elco run down there jon, it would be nice to see more american cars down there.
