I sort of agree, AOL as an ISP sucks worse than Elton John trying to get a golf ball out of a garden hose.
But AIM is cool, whether it is AOL made or not, it is a good IM client.

Here's the solution. Use trillian! That way you can use all your messaging programs at once, with only one program running, and no matter how much you dislike yahoo and/or AOL, you can use their servers and waste their money without using their software and without looking at their ads! Yay Nor Cal!
