Mmmmnnn...diff fluid all over my forehead on a Sunday...better than a Double Whopper w/cheese

Sorry, taking the kids to Chucky-Cheese. You'll be fine, really a one-man job, just be careful when you pop/pry the carrier out.

Also, unsure of your working enviroment, but sweep/blow the area real clean, don't want any grit getting in there.

the whole differential comes out after you remove the retainers on bit sides. just make sure you remember where the shims go. the mini spool replace the spider gears inside the differential case...

you have take the little bolt that hold the pin in right and removed c-clip and slide axles out? if the axles are clear of the differential then it should come out....try and pry on it a little, but dont hook it to another car with a chain...lol.

you have the side bearing caps off right? you can see bearings? If so I would pry between the housing and the case to remove the whole thing.....

no it was a posi, got a mini spool, got em out, done for the day, but it looks like ill need some more spacers because i placed the mini spool in the housing and the little cubes that go through the pin arent tight against the circular things that have the splines for the axles. I didnt mock it up with the axles in it so my question is this, will the axles place the circular things closer together so that the cubes make a tight fit in them or do they not have a roll to play at all in where the circular things line up and i have to get more spacers. I know im explaining it pretty damn confusing but thats the best i can do.

I just put together a Dana 44 3 or 4 weeks ago and spec was 65ft pounds, should be the same if they are 1/2in bolts.
