Sooo sad
Well,My thirdgen will not happen for awhile
I just put a highly modified engine in my 87 4runner,about 3 days after break in,my 91 4runners engine started knocking(rod bearing)
I bought my 88 K5 blazer, excelent condition but no reverse to take its place. It was supposed to have an Auburn posi in it and I thought I would change the fluid. When I removed the diff cover I noticed that my (stock) posi, not Auburn, carrier was cracked 3/4 of the way around(where my vibes were comin from). So I took it to the shop as I am working 3 jobs and have no spare time for it.Well,I now have a new torque converter, rebuilt tranny with a shift kit and some corvette internals, rebuilt transfer case, and a new Eaton posi with upgraded 30 spline axles with all new bearings, and all for,gasp,$4,300.I am now going to purchase an engine rebuild for my 91 runner for about $2,500 and have to do the work myself.I was so close to getting that z28 but at the last minute decided that it would be better to have 3 perfect cars than to have 2 great running cars and then have 2 not running sitting at my house.I am going to sell the blazer and the 4runner this spring for a new truck and should have some left to get my camaro.

It's winter time anyways Steve-o.
You've got several months to git 'r done.
Gives you more time to find the right one.
Hope to see you in the Spring with something other than them trucks.

It's not a big dealand I don't really care,it's justthat I'm going crazy not having a fast car.I can still waist a few people with my blazer though.I can spin first and now with the shift kit chirp 2nd with it so it's not bad.I would rather put out the $$$ now that I have it than after it's spent and have to come up with it again
