A short drive by vid

I got bored and went for a little drive to get a vid that kinda shows how the exhaust sounds before the headers.

Yeah,I think it's the bore increase and the ported plenum.the plenum not so much as I don't see just that adding any sound or power.I can't wait to hear it with the headers. It even has the stock size pipe from the cat to the muffler.

So you are keeping the 305?

The landscape in the background there is awesome...

No,I'm still going to build the 350 and drop it in next winter.I just figure I will do what I can to the 305 since there's still plenty of life for this 305.The landscape is all around me,I taped it 2 minutes up the street but that is pretty much the view from my house.

That vids is before the headers. It sounds different. U changed anything? Maybe its my comp speakers. The car has a .030 over bore, and the heads were resurfaced. Stock heads, cam, regrounded crank. all new components. Piece of crap cost me 2ks for the rebuilt engine and another 1k for taking it out and installing it.

I tuned it up,retimed it and but that's pretty much it.It sounds smoother now.The vent for the tank wasn't the problem, the purge solenoid is shot.I'm buying another one but can't get it till tomorrow.

It's on top of the charcoal canister and regulates the fuel vapors that go back throught the throttle body to be reburned.I think the pump may be bad also.It whines way too loud for me to tolerate and the vapors are awful.

my neighbor believes it could be a bad fuel pump relay. Maybe u could check into that. He believe that it might be sending too much voltage to the fuel pump.

It pulls pretty hard till about 5,000 rpm.I was just messing around on the way home from the beach.I want to get it down to a lower altitude though.I'm at about 5,000 ft. now.

The original paint color is the same as Dels,I'm actually thinking of going baack to that color but I like the blue too, this was a cheap Earl Schieb job.It goes faster than 105,I was coming up on a turn(notice the needle drop). It cruises at high speed much better than my 87 did, gets there faster too

Del's paint color is SWEET! I have always loved that gunmetal grey GTA color. What is the official GM / DuPont name for that?

Not that the blue is that bad, but your car is like mine bro, it looks great when it's raining hahahaha
