engine news

you guys prolly getting tired of listening to me rant, but whatever.

i talked to the shop and they dont like the clearance between the rods and the block so now they are gonna dissasemble it completely and grind some more.

i told them to goahead and check the align-bore in it since he mentioned it was a little tension when turning it. and im having them hone the cylinders.

that is all.
now im shooting for next week.

tranny is built fairly well. i just pray the mods for the 10 bolt will hold out. lol

Unless youve dramatically improved on the tires you were running last time i saw it, the 10 bolt should hold up. Actually people rag too hard on the 10 bolt, they can be built strong just like any other rear end.

hey i agree, the keyword is built

i plan to keep my ten bolt, im having the axle tubes welded and the summit cover with the bearing tensioners built in.

ok got the call today the engine is finally done!

now im waiting on new lifters to come in from a fellow member on tgo, and i prolly wont pick up the motor till the 3rd when i get paid again.

blew all my money on this stupid daily driver.
