I have been missing my 84 t/a lately and have been contemplating going back to carb and ditching the tpi.What do you guys think?I still would like to do a stealth ram next winter but I would love to just be able to rejet and go.What do you guys think?I love the lowend torque but after driving Harjeets ls1 I want some top end pull.

i say leave the engine the way it is untill you do ur engine swap. No point on wasting time and money on something thats going to be taken off. If u want extra hp get a nx kit. but its ur car so do what ya feel.

Well if I do the carb swap now then I'll just use it on the 350 too.I'm just debating on carb or stealthram for longterm and power results.

if u still want to do a ls1 swa, theres a guy on ls1tech that is selling a 2002 shortblock. Stock 2002 Shortblock (346) Forged mahle piston's with 4cc valve relief, forged H-Beam rod's with ARP bolt's. All work done by a professional machine shop locally (Cassell Engine's)

I may do an ls1 swap but I kinda doubt it.Swapping to a stealthram will cost roughly the same anyway.I just remember how easy it was to mess with me carb.
