You know, it's a good thing you stopped driving it when it started making the noise.

That thing is awesome, Kragen quality at it's best right there, lol. It's all good, Travis has a good one this time. Bish, did you ever find out what kind of bolts the new tq. converter takes? Get her done, I want it out of my garage soon, if not I am going to put up a for sale sign on it, lol, j/k, you know I love you as if you were my little bro.

Damn dude. Make sure your flexplate to crank bolts are 100% torqued properly also.

Be happy thats all that happened, not only could that have gone through ur block and ud be out another motor, that coulda gone through the floor and took your leg off. Course the converter woulda probably stopped that from happening but you never know. Stop being a jew and get an SFI approved one.

Correct me if I am wrong Travis, but I am almost positive his new one is sfi approved. I think this time he is doing it right, gotta give him credit for it.

Thanks for backing me up Will, Yes I purchased a B&M sfi approved 153 tooth flexplate. Come to find out, I was running a 168 tooth, and I've heard they don't work well in the 700r4. Worked in mine, However I do see plenty of score marks in the inside of the bellhousing lol. Also, that odd rawr sound everyone could hear at idle is gone now. I always thought it was valvetrain tapping the valve covers from appearent score marks inside the covers, But now with the new smaller flexplate, I do not notice the sound, Case solved coincidently.

Glad to hear she is running better bish, you still planning on the speed density swap at your house this weekend? Bring her back down whenever you need too. Kinda miss having it in the driveway, ha ha.
