Got the Iroc running.
Had to wait on the additional mods for the time being, I still want to have the SD swap finished before the 26th. Probably won't have the fuel pump or gears done by then. Took the Iroc out for a spin once Will and I finished the flexplate/torque converter swap. Feels great, no more clanking, knocking sounds, the stall is awesome, hitting upwards of 3200rpm in a flash now, brake stall it up around 2200rpm right now. I think I can get more with better rear brakes. Hope this really help my track times now. See you guys August 26th.
I'll aim to break my lousy 13.4 that I could only muster last time out. Hopefully the SD will solve my problems.
-Oh ya, Seems my TC, is not locking up at all, though it is the lockup style. Any quick tips why? all my settings in the ecm are stock for lockup timing.

Do you have the lockup connector hooked up to the transmission? I think it's a 4-pin square plug. Since you didn't change anything other than the converter, I'd guess that it's either that or the converter itself.

Thanks, I didn't unplug it at all when we did the swap, I think I will inspect it, maybe we broke it. I doubt its the torque converter, Was shipped in its original box and the part number printed matched the lockup model.

Good to hear it's running again, hope you get the lockup problem solved. Sounds like it's something simple.

Travis, any new news on the TC lockup? I have a bad feeling we damaged something when we dropped the tranny, I don't remember paying any attention to that hookup when we were doing all that work.

I havn't looked underneath yet, I kinda think the lockup never worked, Hard to say though since the last TC was such a smaller stall, Could'nt really notice. Or at least I didn't from the way other people describe it.
