Thirdgen Accomplishments

What lists can you guys come up with that you have been able to do yourself with your thirdgen?
I have done everything from building engines/swapping engines. A/c delete, Transmission swaps, Helped with T56 conversions, Driveshaft swaps, Axle swaps, Spring/shock/strut install, Dropped the gas tank for fuel pump, removed and installed exhaust piping, Recently doing a k-member/A arm swap, Repinned an ecm from maf to speed density. Replaced a window in a door, changed door panels, all interior plastics. And did a h4 conversion to the headlights complete with relays.
What list can you guys come up with?

Don't forget blowin' up a couple of those engines and rollin' a 3rd gen.
Those are big accomplishments that you did yourself.

Hmm, pretty minor stuff in my list, but I've done a lot of maintenance and part swaps since I've owned 2 thirdgens over 9+ years, most on my 'ol v6.
Bennie has done most of the good stuff on the GTA.

front bumper
fenders
hood
shocks
brakes
rebuilt pop-up headlight motors
rear hatch motor
hood/trunk struts
window motors
underbody neon
headlamps/misclights/bulbs
stereo/speakers/decks
minor tuning
oil changes

I used the rebuild kit that Lon @ TDS makes (sponsor on the right).
~$20.00 and takes couple hours tops.

99% of the time, the motors are fine and the 3 gel bushings inside the gears crumble to pieces over time.
You put the new bushings in, grease, seal and they'll last another decade or 2.

i've done everything on my own cars except exhaust welding (dont have a welder), body work/paint and rear gear setup.

i've never built a motor/put one in for my own car but i've done plenty of other people's cars.

The list would be too long. The major stuff though is basicly, a whole new drivetrain, new paint job twice over when I finish the current one, windows that go up and down with doors that close nice.

OMG! This is the best I've heard yet! One time I broke off two studs changing tires but that was on my '97 TA.

TraviZ, you are the MAN! All joking aside, I respect your ambition to learn and do things yourself! I have to say, not growing up around a shop/tools, I didn't learn anything until I went to high school and took Auto class. There I learned basic maintanence(plugs,wires,oil/air filter,etc.). I rebuilt my '54 Chevy's single barrel carb there as well as a water pump on my parents '77 Oldsmobile. As far as my thirdgen accomplishments go, when I have time I do as much as I can. I had my cat flanged(as well as a straight pipe), but did the install myself. I took the body fx and spoiler off for the painter and re-assembled it. I gutted the air box and de-screened the MAF. I replaced the alternator. I removed my A/C and put in the delete pulley(heater box in the mail). I recently did the rear latch motor and struts. In the near future I need to replace my headliner, install an amp/rear subs, re-route my battery to the rear, and eventually put an alum. motor/heads, T-5, carbon fiber driveshaft, tubular K member w/ A arms, etc. RU-QWIK has helped me with a number of things(polished intake, replace head gasket, etc.) Camaero has helped me learn about PROM stuff. TraviZ, you have always been there to answers 3rd gen ?'s for me as well. Thanks
