Hey, new here!
Hey guys what's up!
I was racing a sweet red '67 RS/SS Camaro (don't know if it was real or a clone) and the guy told me about this site for my IROC. I think he said his name was urban hunter 44 and he posts here.
I've got an 87 IROC with a 350 in it. Vortec heads, performer RPM A/G intake, 230/236 cam, backed by a (somewhat) built T-5 and a 12 bolt moser rear.
Do you guys ever go to sacramento raceway? I'd love to meet up there sometime!

have you done anything to your iroc? want to race?
Did you ever race yours at the track?
I haven't seen Tony (Urban) on here in awhile, but his Myspace doesn't show any 1st gen Camaro, so maybe it wasn't his.
He has a nice '97 4th gen though.
Anyways - welcome 1badiroc, what's your name, location?
Post some pics of your ride and tell us what times you're pulling at Sac Raceway.
A lot of us go there frequently as the weather gets better.
Check back here often and you'll see we have GTG's pretty frequently at the track or at other locales.
Hope to see you around.

Yeah I have a 1st gen now. I got a better position in my company and super credit and got a loan for it. I need to update my myspace del lol, it doesn't even show the truck I bought a month ago. I'll do that tonight if I have time.
Glad to see you made it to TGO James! You'll find that there's a TON of info here on your car!
Edit: it's a real RS/SS as far as I can tell

So you have both now? A Camaro fans dream come true I'm sure.
How much did you get that '67 for? Nice shape?
I'll even let a couple pics of it in here slide. =X

Del,
Yes I have both. The '97 will stay around for a heads/cam setup. The '67 is the weekend car. I have a truck as a daily driver as well.
I only have pics of it with the old owner, I'll get new ones shortly.
I paid 12k, it's worth a bit more but the seller needed money. I've been considering flipping it if I get a decent offer. Very good condition. Very clean paint, very nice interior. Pulls to the left when I brake, but so far that's the only problem.
The motor is a 454 with a 290 degree duration cam and ported stock heads. it made 444 with the tires spinning and the timing all ****ed up. gets about 4mpg lol. it has full exhaust but it's as loud as my '97 with dumped LTs
Pics will follow soon. I'm planning a photo shoot tommorow

Cameron - Just thought you might want to know what you were up against since you're asking for races.
Looking fwd to seeing what yours does at the track too.
Tony - Sounds like a fun cruiser, I'll keep an eye out for the pics.

Hav ethe material for the tail pipes just need the muffler so I can start fabricating again.
Anyone know of a deal on bear brakes? They just want way too much!!!

i dont know man. when someone here does something to affect another member especially one i consider my friend, i feel everyone should be aware. irocdaddy is prime example. how many of you know why he dissapeared? thats exactly what needs to be prevented. embarresment may be so. but why be embarresed of your own actions.

I don't think posting it in a "new" member's thread is the best place to hijack.
PM's or in person at a GTG would be better.
So, send me a PM and tell me what hap'd to IROCdaddy.

From what I've heard a debt paid wouldn't net me any friends. That's alright though, I've already found out who my true friends were and will be. Feel free to PM me if you know different - I really don't know very much about that whole situation and would be more than happy to discuss it with you.
