tomorrow my car should be sitting on four wheels again!
It will be hard to work in my bee suit though.
Yesterday I got stung by a bee while working on the iroc, right in the back of the head, in my hair. like, wtf!
all I was doing was slapping on my new brakes.
Will's neighbor has a honey farm so there is quite a few bees out and about. I been thinking about bombing them with smoke or something haha. If I survive tomorrow, I will try to post pics of my car sitting on wheels!

Re: wish me luck
...One of my sister's has a honey farm. I don't think she sell's any; but she should start before she start's loosing the 'flower of youth'......
Nitro

(Damn, I got bumped out on the third round at Infinion Raceway tonight. The temp dropped to 55* and my rear tires just went up in smoke; cost me an extra 1/2 second of 1/4 mile time...)
----------

Oh, Good Luck with the car Travis; you've waited a long-long time to get to this point....

Re: wish me luck
You know whats funny, the first 3 pictures, the car is supported by its own wheels, no jacks! damn front end has no weight on it! lol

Re: wish me luck
Looking slick! Any wieght savings with the new wheels or "K" member? Do you plan on removing the honey comb bumper reinforcements? Looks like you're getting ready for paint. Sweet! Won't be "pink" anymore, eh?

Re: wish me luck
I bet the wheels weigh more, I don't know for sure, just being 3" wider might make them heavier. The K member is supposed to save only about 15lbs. I dont remember if thats with or without the a arms. the honey comb is staying, I tinkered with the idea, but found out it helps support the front and rear bumper covers, it helps keep their shape! And unfortunately it will not be pink anymore lol. the new rear bumper is just on for the test fit, it will be coming back off once we get it to the shop. I am going for a pearl red this time.

Sweet. As much as I enjoy progress on my '54, I can't wait to start my IROC! Very inspiring man. 2 thumbs up!
