oil pan!

ordered myself a christmas present

anyone need a stock oil pan? it works fine and has been clearanced for stroker applications.

For my blower that is not self contained, I am going to tap this pan for the fittings and have them welded in to prevent any leakage from happening. Yay for AN fittings.

Re: oil pan!

I bought a chrome Moroso pan for my Poncho and now I know the true meaning of "leaks like a sieve"

Is that the plain steel one?

Hopefully with the SBC 1pc gasket you will avoid all the trouble I had with mine, I know others with the SBC one that have had fun too. IMO stock GM pan seals better.

Hope your feelin' better bro

Re: oil pan!

it is a one peice gasket, one peice rear main seal, and its actually just a steal pan, zinc according to the description, picture is a little off.
I agree, had to stay away from chrome.

Re: oil pan!

Cool, you should be fine then although I am losing faith in all aftermarket pans now.

Re: oil pan!

Keep the stock pan around for a while. The aftermarket pans are notorious for not fitting with the thirdgen y-pipe and the k-member. You might have to do some clearancing.
