PROM burning lessons needed....
I've ammassed a bunch of 'non-standard' drivetrain parts for my IROC. I know that I'm going to have to learn how to understand the info tables and for using the equipment neccessary for all this. Is it possible we could put up a PROM 'HOw-To' booth at the GTG with a donation jar and find a couple of North Cali's who could do sum teaching????? (just a thought)- Whatcha all think about that.
Oh, and Travis, what do we need to do for you so that you have the comfort needed to survive a weekend. I could bring my motorhome if someone would drive my IROC..... Just a thought- Nitro

Well I custom tune my TBI setup w/ EBL, not sure how my knowledge really carries over but heck if you've already got a bunch of equipment and aren't quite sure on how to use it I'd be more than happy to sit and tweak on it with with ya if I can make it.
Whats your set up? What do you have in the way of equipment? How far along are you?

I'm assuming you've already read the "Intro to PROM burning" tech article?

I plan on bringing my equipment, however, someone will need to bring a good laptop as mine has a bad battery and is slow. I'll need some help learning it as well. TraviZ, glad to see you'll be there!

Re: PROM burning lessons needed....
I can bring my laptop- I havn't invested any $$ in the PROM testing/burning area yet; I keep chasing gremlin's on all the other replacement modifications, etc. BUT****, I'm planning on building a much larger MAF and increasing the TPI airlid size to match all the porting I've been having done from the PLENUM to the Edelbrock base and heads that'r being performed this week. There's no way my new engine will be installed by the GTG date, but it would be a great time to do some learning and practicing. Hopefully I can find a used set of PROM equipment to purchase beforehand..... Nitro

Try and purchase some blank proms(chips) so we can burn some for you based on your info. I think that can be done, however it's always better to have your car there. Maybe it'd be better to just learn? Eitherway, I look FWD to meeting you all and seeing some of you again. It's been a while.
