Another update
I got the auto shifter and console out to make way for the 4th gen console. I have clutch/brake pedals ready to go in but I'm waiting till it cools off to put them in. I will be cutting the shifter hole tonight.
I will be cleaning the serp brackets and getting a lot done this weekend. I can't wait to vacuum and wash it cause it's filthy.
The more wieght that goes back in, the more the wheel gap disapperas so I'm happy.

I envy your enthusiasm. Right now I'd be happy just to have a running DD that didn't burn/leak oil. Congrats on keeping the bird. BTW, How's your little spiderman? Mine just turned 4 last month.

Good, he turned 4 in May. He's been helping with the car. He took the driver seats out for me so I could lay on my back to swap the pedals from the donor car. He wants me to "win". Whenever I'm in the Tahoe he waits for the green light and telss me "GO"! He loves the v8 growl.

Re: Another update
Been around 99* here so I waited until this evening to do any work. I got the hole cut for the shifter and installed the shifter, got the pedals mounted and put my console back in until I recieve the 4th gen console. Tomorrow I'm drilling the holes for the clutch master cylinder, adjusting the rockers, and mounting what I can of the accessorties. I have to go back to Summit to exchange my red plug wires for black and pick up the fuel pressure gauge for the fuel inlet and a mini starter. Since I forgot that I don't have one anymore.

Looking real good Steve.
It's HOT out here but in a different way. Lots of humidity! I think I lost my radiator this weekend. Coolant leak developed after a trip home from work. Dropping it off here in a minute and preparing to hear some bad news.
Cheers from GA!

Re: Another update
Well I got the rockers adjusted, mounted the waterpump, serp brackets, radiator, hood, distributor, exhaust, and starter yesterday and today. Tomorrow I'll mount the fuel pressure regulator and run the fuel lines to the carb, put oil, coolant in. It should be firing this weekend. I will take video of the start up. I still need to mount the clutch master cylinder but firing it up is my main goal right now. I hope she sounds mean.

Re: Another update
What year is yours from? I'm getting the 98-02 with 4 cupholders.
I got the spark plugs and wires in last night. I go in to work at 2 today so I might go get the fuel fittings and lines and install them before work.
