most of an LT1, make reasonable offer.

So like the title says, I have an LT1 that had two cracked heads = junk...
Its disassembled and I have decided to go for an LS1 swap so I need to make this go away.
Block looks good, have the intake manifold, injectors, crankshaft, rods, wire harness ect, pretty much the whole motor w/sensors except the heads.

I am open to offers but I would like to get $300 for it.

I guess we're thinking if the heads were both cracked what else is wrong with the motor

Re: most of an LT1, make reasonable offer.

Well, there is nothing wrong with the intake...
The block checked out ok, the heads were cracked because its an LT1 and it had bad electrolysis (Which only affects the aluminum portion) and then cracked. All the cracks were around heavily pitted areas, was going to have them welded but then decided I would just pick up some AFR's my machinist welded them up and used them. Then I thought "You know, if Im going to spend 2K on a set of heads I might as well just get an LS motor" and so this thread was born...
I hope that clarifies everything?

$200... Take it away (not shipping @ that price) I need the cash.
Its a good roller block with all the hardware and intake, I believe you can use the LT1 intake on a 350 tpi?

that sounds like a pretty low price. Almost makes it unreasonable not to buy it, where are you located

I'm in Livermore, I would be willing to meet you within reason (Not driving more than an hour though)

Damn, I see you live in Arcata, I used to live there... Its about a 5-6 hour drive if your smashing.

Aw, well that's a shame. I don't have a truck up here only my camaro, and if you were a few hundred miles closer I'd be able to borrow a friends truck, but I'll have to let this one pass due to distance. Good luck with the sale though.
