Looking for a T/A hood

I need to find a T/A hood so I can get my cold air completed. If anyone knows where I can pick one up, give me a call.

Perfect match for Marc.

Identical to the blue hood I have on my '88 with the screaming 'bird.

Re: Looking for a T/A hood

Well got the hood today, bought it sight unseen. I'm happy because it really was red. Theres some rough spots around the "unopened air intake", but overall, Its going to be hard to see it at 138 mph.

I looked and even with the new hood, it really doesnt have a "ram/cold air intake" it looks like I'm gonna have to cut a something out from the inner hood linner,to get some kind of "cold/ram air' set up going.

I'm going to miss my Formula hood w/ bulge.

I had my chance to trade my Formula hood for that hood, w/ frank.

I just couldnt get past the still not fixed "hood wrinkle" above the L/F headlight.

Re: Looking for a T/A hood

Pulling the hood liner won't help any, until you cut away the inner structure of the hood. Those vents aren't open all the way through.

Yeah, I saw that the top "air vents" still need to be cut, or "modd'd" as you younings say

I also checked out where I should cut the inner hood skin, to best direct the fresh air. But I did notice that if I where to cut the inner skin of the hood, it makes takes away from the structure of the hood latch.

Re: Looking for a T/A hood

I was at pick-n-pull (redding) yesterday and they had an 84? t/a w/factory induction hood that was clean. I didn't grab any parts, too busy crying about the abuse that the cars get out there, all the rear seats looked like a gorilla was looking for spare change
