Hi Del, I know this is totally not thirdgen related. But can I post pics of my new ride, yes it's a Honda. Just wanted to ask first, if not it's all good. I totally understand. You guys can just see it at the next meet if I am allowed.

If you are asking Del the mod, no, we don't need to see that.
However, since you did ask and we do have a nice little community here where some additional BS is allowed and I know tough times brought you to this point, I'm certainly not going to say no.
I do hope you'll return to a 3rd gen again someday when things improve for you and that you will continue to show at our gtgs and post here in a positive manner. Enjoy!

Is thier some way we can get a picture of your honda parked next to a 3rd gen. Then it will be all good. Haha. I think we are a really good board and slowly we are all getting to know eachother and outside of the thirdgen world too. I think it's awesome. But it's not my decision to choose what you can and can't post.

You guys are messed up. But the Honda has the best potential for high HP, anything you put in it or on it adds serious horsepower! I though you guys knew....

I'm not married. Let me just say something though, my weak little 4.6 Mustang GT will more than likely whoop any 305 with equivalent mods. Usually takes slapping on a Vortech to get a 305 just into the 13's, while there are a couple cam and bolt-on only high 12 second 99-04 GT's. LOL.
And if I can't handle anyone with my estimated 270-275 horses, due to the BBK cold air intake and Flowmaster catback, plus the advantage of 3.73's, I can whip out the IROC when I have it rebuilt and stroked out to a 383, probably sometime next year.
You guys need to lay off. A lot of you are running around in 80's cars as daily drivers, with ragged-out junky 20-some-odd year old interiors that a girl wouldn't even get near. But hey, that's on you if you can't accept that the 'Stang is the better car. Of course it won't compare performance-wise to an LS1 era car, but most 305 guys have NO room to talk.
I tried to make a friendly post, just making a joke about my head unit, and you guys got your undies in a knot.

my daily driver i wish was my ratted out 89 iroc you see in my pic. i have about another month before I am running the engine again 
in the meantime ill run around in my stock 98 z28 still smashing on my friends modded 05 GT

LOL. I'm not even going to comment on this one. Go back to 3rd grade spelling class, bud!

I guess these 305-powered pieces are just above my level. You guys have to realize that the only real respectable third gens are any of the 5.7 powered cars, L98, LS1 swaps, LT1 swaps, etc, of course the old Gen 1 SBC's, BBC's, and a few of the cammed and F/I 305's. Brisk has a really well built 305/5 speed car that he's dumped some $$$ into.
But, you guys with your stock 190 horse 305's can go get lost, LOL. Even the V6 guys are a step above you folk. They most likely buy them because they like the body style, but want some fuel economy. How can you buy a 305, and have the mentality that it's fast? Hah!
Seriously guys, get over yourselves, I like both brands. As mentioned in another thread, I give credit where it's due. Ford made a great product. 260 horses standard on the GT, I've got the Mach 460 sound system option, leather seats, sitting on 18" FR500's. Looks and performs way better than a daily driver has to IMO.
I'm sorry that I can afford to own both, too. Should I trade it back in, and buy twelve 305 cars? LOL! Sheesh, this is just incredible.
