My cars not running the numbers it used to and I think the gas milage is way off. Sometimes when I start it it idles real high and other times real low almost to die. The tps egr iac o2 all have less then 1000 miles on them. The car has sat for 3 years now I'm tryin to get her back to her old self and I think I'm out of ideas

 

only thing I can say. I am not in the area so I dont know for sure. But type in shops on google. Check out thier ratings, then call or go in and talk to them. See what thier credentials are. Experience with TPI etc.

 

Everyone say oh ya we can do that lol oh ya we work on those. I can work on cars too, I've met alot of bullshiters out here just lookin for someone that might specialize on tpi's hopefully

That was the yahoo shop I was very unimpressed with they wanted to put my car on the dyno to tell me why I keep losing fan belts. And the guy I talked to had no idea what a deep groove pulley was... They have a ton of cars there but there all newer supercharged or turbo cars easy to tune with computers... Not a real repair shop imo

 

Ive never had a car that lost v belts...ive seen deep grooved pulleys still throw belts...that is crazy.

Well if you have a bad feeling about them then I would not go to them.

 

It was my Chevelle I took in there it sees 8000 rpm's tosses belts almost every run changed all my pulleys changed alternator bracket and alternator I think my high flow water pump is dragging to much and spits trying to over come that pulley

 

8000 rpms? damn.
