Its a dodge magnum engine found in the pickups from 93-02. Never seen that engine into a third gen. Btw this car was a 92 and a convertible at the Stockton pick n pull. Its been picked on already some. Tim saw the engine and was like wtf whoa and I was hoping to see some super junkyard stealthram, superram setup and was thinking jackpot...haha...just a dodge engine...Weird nonetheless

Look like it was ever completed? I just wonder if it is an abandoned project that failed, or broke after getting completed.

I think it was completeed. the hood was cut and the air cleaner was sticking out the top of it. the hood was laying next to the car. I could not get the passenger door open to see if thier was a dodge ecm in there or what. But to be honest I looked at it for a minute. I was looking for specific things. Was just kind of hit off guard with this.

Yeah I think they were wasting time really. A magnum dodge engine was no super powerhouse. I mean it was better than a stock TBI setup if thats what the car had. But thier are more aftermarket stuff for the TPI if thats what the car had previously. Im assuming thier engine went out and they had that dodge truck engine sitting around to put in it. People do stuff like that. haha. it was a not expected thing to see.

Re: First time seeing this engine combo in a third gen...

I have came across quite a few 5 speed setups, 9 bolt axle setups at the pick n pulls lately. I just really dont have the extra money or time to be pulling them. I go for the small things. That cluster would be nice to have, i'd go get that if I were you Antoine. I've been selling those things like hotcakes

"Insane"???

How about more like "Tweakers across the world rejoice!"

I can tell you it doesn't run at all, are you looking at the same picture I am where it is in a junkyard?

I wonder how it ran is a past tense speech. I cant say for sure if it ever ran. I wanna say yes. But again I looked at it for a minute and snapped the pictures and off to the next car. I think its a rediculous amount of work for a magnum dodge engine
