New project car

Bought a new project car today. Too good a deal to pass up. What do you all think? Oh yeah if anyone is interested in the hood let me know I want it gone. I am in the market for a formula bulge hood in good shape.

I would trade it for a power bulge or even a clean stock firebird hood. At this point if no one has another hood for me someone will come up on a fiberglass hood. It is not perfect one corner has a lil damage. I just want it gone!

Re: New project car

my hood looks to be in good condition. no dents or dings was replace by original owner due to driving the car under the back of another. has some weird paint the PO put on it. has all the vents and grills i think one may be coming loose. hopefully i can find two hoods. if not i will pm you if i find the power bulge out there. im sure it'll fit in the truck.

All good Ant thx for lookin out even if it was a lil late....A T/A hood would be nice but I really am leaning towards a bulge. However at this point I guess I dont care lol. Oh BTW that starting issue on my 91 was the starter. I did the VATS bypass and nothing. So i hooked up the starter Bypass switch that Snap on makes and nothing. So I crawled under the car and shorted the starter and nothing. Then I dropped exhaust removed starter and shorted it and still nothing. It was at that moment I realized that the starter said Delco on it......Needless to say its running again lol.

Yes the hood does have damage on the driver corner. I mentioned this earlier. thats the only spot. Other than that its a good hood. If you are still interested cool. Let me know about which hoods you find. If not no worries.

That Ram air hood was my hood at one time. I have the original hood from your car.

Re: New project car

I'd would be interested to trade back possibly. The hood off you car was pretty faded when i got it. I rattle canned it but that paint is showing its age now. The hood is good though.

Frank,

Let me know! I would def be interested in trading back. you're old fiberglass hood is in the exact same condition as it was there. As long as the power bulge was straight and complete I do not care what the paint is like.
