so a guy from the rockford area drives a formula 350 into work to trade it in at the dealership i work at.
i see it, walk up, check vin, see the 8 walk in and drop a g-note on the car same day it comes in.
i was happy it had a 350 and good spoiler. drive it home and it feels peppy to me. compared to my car that is; 13.23 in the 1/4 mile. Anyway i start looking at motor when i get home.
what do i see off the bat, accel 30ld injectors, msd coil and edelbrock headers and cat back. kind of excited now needed injectors myself.
here's the good stuff. i go to work find the trade in guys phone # and call the guy i ask what's been done to the car
(other than the obvious.)
isky roller cam
new crank, rods, pistons, pushrods, roller rockers
engine worked .030 over . heads 5 angle valve job ported and polished.
now i didn't want to do any internal work on my engine untill 12.99 showed. but this car fell in my lap.
so i guess i'm swapping long blocks this year
mods already done to my car in signiture.

yeah after lookin at car more and spending some time in it
i'm very happy. other bonus i discovered
clarion face off with remote 6 disc changer
1 amp
2 subs
interior was under seat covers. it's mint
everything works all power options a/c
i mean everything is in good condition.
not a dent on the car.
after lookin longer my wife has decided she want's it for herself after i swap the block and heads. she want's it bone stock with show room shine.
which is cool with me one racer one looker.

Eyes and ears open with cash in hand is the best way to find a car still.
Sounds like a good find.

plant protection: i was told that the cam in the car needed to be run at 12 to 14 deg advance. i'm gonna call
the old owner and see if he can get me a part #. if lucky.
well new plans are to strip car completely doors and all and have a literal parts dept in my basement for my car.
the shell will go bye bye on flatbed.
and i mean every bolt comes undone the shel goes away.
parts i don't want will be forsale. but not in the near future.
as my project moves along i will post parts.
i will sell complete setups only. if you wan't a/c you buy the a/c system complete. reasonable offers will be responded to
all i really need are the block, heads, front fenders, spoiler,
front and rear bumper covers. the rest of the car is on the choppin block. interior is awsome but my gta seats are more comfortable

When?
Wednesday and Friday are bad for me this week, as are Sat and Sun obviously. Next week is wide open though so far.
Hopefully we don't get a bitchy waitress this time.

Tinley Hooters?
What time?
We should do it after X-mas.
I'm finally feeling better and if we get half a dozen folks, I'll prolly head out too

there is nothing wrong with the car. it was the guys daily driver. it just seems it worth more to me in spare parts than it is as a hole car. it will be nice to say i have that part when something breaks on mine.
don't really need the 4th vehicle just me and my wife here.

novadk13, the power windows work but are slow.
however they are equally slow so it may be a power supply concern.
nape, i will let you know but it would be just that a tub.
no rearend no front suspension no doors, fenders, glass
the only way it will roll when i'm done will be on a flatbed wrecker.
I'm still contemplating making it a car but the boss (wife) says
she would rather have some old chrysler heavy metal for her project car.

Hey Nape, I have the perfect car for you. I have an 87 camaro rs roller with no title that would be perfect for a race car. I was going to build it but do not have the funds or time.
