Cost: $50 per car, unlimited runs. $5 for spectators

MFBA is renting out Cordova Dragway. Unlike Test n Tunes where you have to wait in line for a half hour or more its possible at our rental to hot lap with more time spent staging your car than waiting to run. Last year a member hot-lapped over 40 times. 40 runs in a row if that gives you an idea of how many runs its possible to get in.

We must have 40 cars registered and paid by September 14th to break even. If we don't have enough cars by September 14th we will cancel the event and money will be returned, we need to give Cordova 2 weeks notice.

No interest I guess. I know the price is higher than a T&T but the prices have gone up, but there will be more opportunity to run than anywhere else. Little to no waiting.

Short people. Very much in danger of cancelling the event. We either make 40 cars by 2 weeks prior to the event or we cancel it. The closest business day to that is Friday the 16th.

The G6 doesn't sound like an electric car anymore. Had Paul cut the resonator off. Sounds just about the exact same inside the car. Outside the car, definitely louder, can tell its a V6, and There might be too much rasp now. I will give it some time. If not, I will have paul put the resonator back in.

Ive got work and unfortunetly to swamped to take off,,,,Im in the middle of building the batmobile for a Home Depot district competition (each store builds a float,,kinda,,) going to work on finishing the front end and getting the power actuated door flaps for the missles working today,,, were running compressed air to foam missles on each side,,,,, everything will run from a remote control,,,,,, no it does drive itself and no a person can not sit inside,,lol

I have one you can borrow if you want. 1/10th scale though, it might be cramped. But its got a remote control so you don't have to.



Track was great though. Huge turnout. some nice cars there.

Like crap. Trans wasn't happy to do a 2-3 upshift at all. The one time I tried to grin and bear it I lost 5mph on the top end and only trapped 98mph.

The one time I let off it was a 14.4 @ 77mph.

I let the car cool down after that but it never quite was happy. Only got a best of 13.6 @ 101.9 out of it. Which is far from the last time it visited the track.

It was coming out of the hole strong though. Picked up a 1.87 60'ft on crappy several year old hard as a rock Kuhmo Supras.

In this pic the car is pulling hard enough to induce some positive camber on the wheels. Wish the trans would have cooperated, but I knew there was a risk, its been driven about 18,000 miles with no 4th gear and no TCC lockup. So its amazing its lasted this long while I get parts for the 6spd.

i went 14.2@92mph...it was a pretty stellar day for me, couldn't have done it without my 5 man crew helping me setup the beast

thirdgen89gta,,,, those 60' times look good,,, shell be running strong once the trans issue is resolved... I feel ya on that,, the new 700r4 is going in tomorrow night,, I ran an 07 vette down ridgeland and the car shifted into 3rd at 5k and he pulled away(had him till then with a 10.8 afr so theres alot more left in the tune since I pulled the paxton) ....... I hope I can finally get to have some fun with you guys next year
