So, how is everyone??

I'm starting this thread to be kind of relaxed, to get to know each other better, as we will be sleeping together (sort of ), talk about what ever you want, only a few rules, but I doubt we'll have problems. And remember, I'm here ALL the time so if stuff starts, it's deleted.

no flame wars, respect "everyones car", have fun

So, how is everyone?

This semester sucks, worst semester yet, boring, not doing as good grade wise as I usually do.
For those that don't know , I'm 21 and am going to be a junior in college come this winter. yayyy, now only have to complete my 150 cr Acct degree.

you're not doing too good because you are online (on this site even) waaay too much! should be studdying or something.. :P

in any which case, i just moved from southern manitoba to brooks alberta. trying to find an appartment now.. i'm working.. no computer.. that's the second thing on my list to get once i find an appartment..
the local library will have to do for now.
oh, hey, on a bad note.. the ricers' population around here is tripple that from winnipeg.. makes me appreciate home alot more.. although the muscle car population is at about 2x more then at home too....
and it's too damn nice here.. back home i was snowmobiling and ice fishing... stored my car away, i get here and i'm walking around in a t-shirt watching (and hearing) all the ricers go by my motel room..

enough rambling for now.. i must check up on my 'other things' online.

It's about 30-35* here.

Sucks having to walk up hill to class in the rain/sleet.

hey all 27 here, military, army, getting out next year (hopefully)
biker first, car guy 2nd. even though i find my self here and not at the Harley boards. it sucks over there, so I don't go...you guys think the stupid questions are bad here. over there it's all
"what kind of bike i should buy?"
"I have been riding for 3 months and....."
"should i get a fat boy or a springer?"
really stupid questions...and not alot of tech.
most bikers are not PC geeks.....so it's the uninformed yuppies and RUBS (rich urban bikers) on the boards.
right now my may and jun next year is going to be crazy.
first week of may I have a local rally I go to. weekend of camping and party.
3rd week I plan on going to myrdle (sp) beach, week of camping and party
4th week I am going to DC for Rolling thunder, rally at the vietnam vets wall, about 350,000 bikers. weekend of camping and party
and the first week of jun it's third gen... weekend of camping and party
it's going to be fun.....
I do plan on bringing about 3-4 other people with me. one hopefully will have his 86 TA ready buy then. (new 350)
I am thinking of bringing the bike also.....I was thinking it would be cool being in the front of the police escort of cars (after mark, he gets the top spot of course) flying an american flag on the bike (done it before, looks awsome!!!)
later
biker
BTW it rains for about 4 days here, then its 2 days of awsome weather then it rains and pours for another 4 days.
it sucks

i'm doing alright even though i can't drive my camaro until spring. schools going good considering i only go to the vocational school right now for automotives class (hopefully it's a good first career choice) i'll be going to adult ed school in january and then i should be graduating december 2003, 1/2 a year earlier than if i stayed in high school.

I can't wait for the big gathering. i'll be bringing my g/f and the camaro. i've looked through most of this forum and didn't see if there was a set place yet, but i'm going no matter what. it's gonna be ******* awesome to see so many third gens together. well thats it for now i guess, see ya guys later.

BTW, that pic above is hilarious, i think i saw it on here before....

I am doing alright.
I am in my second year of an engineering program, and exams are coming up so I am pretty tense, as I do not do well in school, I am more of a build a motor guy, not crunch #'s about the motor, but once I get this foolish degree I can build cars for a living. or so I hope.

But I can't wait till april when I am out again and enjoying myself.
This nationals idea is awsome. I've seen tons of idea's like this before, but this one is not just a thought, its actually going to happen.

Im doing ok considering

Im in my 5th year of a 4yr Engineering Degree at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Its exam week right now (we have these messed up trimesters) With any amount of luck I will have my degree by the time the meet rolls around.

My car is still in the garage, havent had time to finish it with school and all. Now its starting to get cold so Im looking for a good heater to put in the garage so I can finish the car for spring.

Oh yeah I cant wait to graduate so I can move my *** out of Wisconsin so somewhere warm that I can drive the car year round

Doin' alright.
Right now I'm trying to get my shop ready to store and work on my car this winter. Hoping to get my headers installed and whatever else I have time and money for. I'm a 38 year old married guy, so time and money aren't real plentiful for me (wife, daughter, house, you get the idea) so my mods happen very slowly - so expect a mostly stock RS.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys face to face to talk and eyeball your rides. Most of my family and friends just don't "get it" regarding the true joy of owning an F-body, so it'll be great to hang with those who do. In the mean time, it's going to be a long winter probably working overtime as a machinist making parts for air tools

no one understands, most of my friends are into imports and such, but my best friend is always amazed when i let him drive the rs (i think he's most fascinated by the t-tops ) i tell him its very slow right now. i notice days of driving the rs, im happier than when driving the civic

yeah, it's quite a feeling to drive the car, and have people look at you with an amazed look when the tops are out.

well....... let's see... what did i do today? i cleaned house. yeah, a 20 year old cleaning the house. *shrug* domestic duties gotta be done, yanno.

other than that, just checking over the boards, waiting for the domain to be pointed over to where we have the site hosted now.

still job hunting, i'm following up on an application tomorrow, and also calling a dodge dealer (i know i know, dodge , but if it pays my bills, it pays my bills) to schedule an interview for a sales position. can't hurt.

Well good luck with the sales job, I have 2 friends that are car salesmen for a 5-star dodge dealership in Iowa, look forward to working some crazy hours......but the pay for a good salesmen is excellent........

I'm gonna have 2 jobs once i turn 18, only to pay for mods done to my car, then gonna quit for only 1 job...........I don't wanna have to work and pay for my car next year in college.....

Im Mike, I'm 18 and live in Harwinton, CT. I go to school in Syracuse at SUNY ESF studying to be a fisheries biologist. Not that glamorous but fishing is my second love (was my first, until I got the 350 in).

Right now its cold in CT, I am home for thanksgiving. Have put 250 miles on the bird since i got home, and since its snowing wont be many more put on it for a long time. Car needs many things right now, heads and perhaps a tranny, its gonna get fun and expensive soon.

Today I took the bird out for a g-tech 0-60, best time i pulled was 7.04. Why so bad? Bad shift points, worn valve springs, and the oh so sucky matter of baking the tires through 1st gear. I need better tires right now.

Doing alright, under an immense amount of stress from 6 or 7 different factors. Between passing Organic Chemistry, winterizing the boat, and fixing the beast, its been bad. Cant wait till winter when I throw the ice fishing gear in the camaro and do nothing but freeze my *** off for three weeks.

almost got the civic sold
i spent most of the day returning it to stock-
removed the subs (still deciding if they go in the rs or not)
removed the cold air intake and the strut bars
this kid better buy it

now there will be more money for my f-bodies. it sux that i'm having to unload it so cheap ($8800) but now i can get the rs frontend fixed and maybe even get a motor for the z

its snowing like crazy here right now, too bad i can't get a day off from work for that (and get paid )

robert, we got about the same, maybe a little less (columbus always gets less) but its not sticking on the roads which is good, b/c the civic's tires are BALD
i remember when i lived in akron, we always got a little extra from the lake, these people in columbus see a flurry and forget how to drive

i do hope to get a dry day soon b/c i have some people looking at the car, and i actually got a weekend off, and i need to work on the rs a little, it might have to be my daily driver for a while ( driving in the winter-damn salt) unless i can find a beater
