Im thinking about grabbing one. I also have a holley jet kit with #64-#99.

Factory were 65 primaries and 68 secondaries. Went down 1 step (as far as possible) on the primaries and 66s on secondaries..didnt help much. I also lowered my fuel pressure with no luck.

I figure someone will be able to help.

Well with the vac gauge you can ajust the idle screws to lean it out a bit and playing arround with the float level will help that out a bit

BTW have any back fires recently with it?

I dont recall ever having a backfire with this carb. Except it dieseled a couple times bcause the idle was sky high. I dont think it has ever been backfired so the power valve in theory should be ok. Maybe I should go ahead and try another one and see what happens.

I work at advance auto parts. We have one but its big...runs about 30$. It does more than just read vaccum tho.

If someone at the meet can make my car run strong and stop running so rich Id give them like 20$ or something. Im tired of fouling plugs and running so rich that you can see black smoke at idle even.

Its funny because it still does miss or hesitate lol. Must be a chevy thing.
