I dont get it, everyone calls it nationals but everyone insists that it stays in the east because the person organizing it lives in the east. Why not just post this in an east coast gathering forum?

If I make a meet in Texas, can I call it nationals and have my own forum too?

Not trying to start a flame war or anything, I just don't get why it's called nationals.

I'm having my midwest f-body meet and I have my own board ! Denny is hosting his thirdgen fest on his own board!

I like the idea of splitting up the nationals into 3 regions of the US....good idea.

geez it's just a name. hmm, wonder why I'm not too receptive to planning this again.

however, that might be due to my laziness and more important things along with a car that needs a new trans

East/West ?
I'm new here so maybe I have no say. What difference does it make if everyone shows up and has a good time. But here is a thought for you all to consider. Have a street car and I do mean a true "Street Car" that is 100% street legal and drivable, not just some race car hiden in a street car body Drag Race.Have this race to include, Street tires, mufflers, complete interior, pump gas and drive in only, with a 50 mile drive test and 10 minute idle rule to compete. Brake it into 2 classes, Heads Up and Handicap. No brake out rule for hadicap and then combine them for a shoot-out. The winner takes the Trophy and Title back home be it East or West. The winners home each year being the next years Invitational as East Coast or West Coast . This may solve all the agruements about locational preference differences. I know for sure I'd show up with my car to run. Any takers out there willing to have their Ego's crushed my Tis2Bad. My car is 100%legal and I can drive it anywhere, anytime from Ohio to test her out. I'll have pictures available later with a video maybe. East Coast/West Coast , Not on your tires, right here in the Heartland.
Think about it , Tis2Bad
