Nationals
I used to work for the Chamber of Commerce in Sevierville TN. Which is next door to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (The Great Smoky Mountains). I have planned special events for years and would be more than happy to assist with Nationals. If anyone is interested in holding an event in my area let me know. I can get us lodging and attraction discounts. I have made alot of contacts over the years and know that the businesses in the area would be glad to assist. Let me know what you think.
Thanks

Last time I was at Pigeon Forge/Sevierville was for the NOPI show...the cops were horrible...though with all the import kids acting like fools, can't blame them...I attended that show 2 times in PF...

NOPI caused us alot of problems. More violations were written for nudity and DIP that weekend than in the past 10 years combined. Sevierville is actually the better place to stay as far as price and hospitality goes. Plus I know all of the hoteliers so that would give us a plus. If I can get a few people to let me know if they want to do this then I can get some info together.

I'd be interested - can't commit to anything right now, but you have my attention. Man, do I love the Smokies
I know what you mean about shows in that area. It's not uncommon for me to roadtrip there and happen into a rod run, bike gathering, etc. It's a good venue, as far as I'm concerned.

I would like to get a few people to commit or at least start planning. Events in this area take a little time to plan. I would like to hold an event sometime in February. A lot of things are open and hotel rates are great. PLease if anyone else wants to do this let me know ASAP. I would love to get started on this but some people to throw in their opinion.

I am very interested also. This would be great, only 1 hour away.
Just have to be careful with the weather in February since are cars do not like the white stuff!

We actually had our 1st Annual Starquestclub.com National meet at PF this year. It was great we had 49 Starion/Conquest show up. The most ever in one place except for Japan. Anyway PF is a awesome place for a meet. I can give you a link with a whole lot of information on our PF meet. We had a car show and did a run on the Tail of the Dragon. Talk about an awesome drive. One of the hotels allowed us to use one of there parking lots for the show and gave us the best rate for the stay.
Also we had our meet on July 4th weekend so the prices for hotels were actually ridiculous, and any travel was 10times longer due to so much traffic.
We also entered 26 cars in the July 4th parade, the only car club to do so. The crowd loved it.
Was any of you all there for July 4th?
