Bummer man, I was hoping to check out your new hotrod.
Do you really need that second bolt down there? When in doubt, JB weld it out!

I am keeping a close eye on the weather, and will post up if we are cancelling due to the weather/tropical storm heading up this way...
Hopefully it will miss us, but be sure to check back Sunday morning!

Hey Eric;
I spoke with a few regulars at last week's Lowes Cruise. Although I have nothing definite, Joe & Debbie wanted to come and bring their 2 Firebirds. Mike with the white '89 Formula wants to drive down too, but will be arriving a little later. I no longer have a 3rd gen and may ride down with Mike.

Yeah Eric, I just looked at the weather and they're calling for thunder storms in that area most of the day. Major bummer! Unless this storm heads in a total other direction, not looking good. Are you able to do a rain date at all with the park? Hope we can figure something out.

Hey guys, looks like it is going to rain all tomorrow and not clearing until Monday.
We are going to have to reschedule for the rain date of SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18TH. All other details will remain the same other than the date.
I wanted to give folks as much notice as possible, hope to see ya on the rain date!

Damn it, I'll be out of town that weekend, going to Chicago for my sisters wedding.
It seems like whenever there is something good going on, I'm always out of town.

Re: Thirdgen Nationals/Power at the Point picnic 2008!
Its looking good for me since it got pushed back
I'm just waiting on getting my tires on, alligned and my exhaust straightend out. With around 2 weeks left I should be able to get that accomplished. I'll give a definate Yes as soon as I know.
Should be fun.
My car isn't as nice as alot of them that will be there but its still in the process of being restored.

Re: Thirdgen Nationals/Power at the Point picnic 2008!
Got my Tags and just switched out a set of Ball joints tonight. The Camaro seems to be doing great on the road. I'm gona put a few miles on it thursday and friday taking it to work to be sure that it will make the 60 mile or so trip to the meet. I think it will be just fine though. I'll definatly be there (Me + 1)as long as I don't have any unsuspected problems creep up that I can't get repaired before the meet. (Car hasn't seen pavement under its own power since around 2000. )
God, it needs a paint job.. oh well.
Dose the weather look like its going to hold out I haven't checked. I know its supposed to start getting cold at some point. Would be nice if the warm weather held out until this weekend.

Erik Adrienne & I are not going to make it as something is wrong with the IROC.I drove it to work mostly highway miles.Put 57.2 miles on it and used 11.069 gals. That figures out to 5.17 mpg so something is wrong.Thing is the WB is reading lean all the time.

I'm out. couldn't get the tags transferred from temp to reg. in time. And they expired today.
I am so pissed at the MD Tag and Title place in Gambrills/Crofton. I've gone there 5 times, and each time it's something different that I need. It would be nice if they would give you a heads up on everything, rather than go there "oh we need the co-owner's sig", ok no prob, I got it "oh now we need the registration card for the old plates" ok got it, oh now we need her sig on another form too grrrrr

Sorry I didn't make it out Erik. My relief at work banged in sick so I had to stay at work for an extra 12 hours.
