I'd say about 315 hp and 350 ft/lb of torque on drag radials to pull and F body to the mid 13s without slicks.

I got a 355 w/ 350hp and only doing 13.61 best to date. 3500 stall, TH350 trans, 3.42 gear 9that's what'a killing me) and 26x9.5 Hoosiers

My dad had 212/276 at the wheels and went 13.67 with traction. Since then he has added headers, and an H-pipe and runs 13.31-13.4 all the time! Oh ya this is in a 1991 Mustang, but with the right suspension, an F-body could do it too!

It depends on the weight and traction more or less. If you have a 280hp motor in a 3400lb car, it'll run in the 13's. If the car weighs 3800lbs and has the same power, no.

What are you going to NJIT for? I graduated (twice) from there...

I have no clue as to how much HP it takes to turn mid 13s but its not as high as some of the estimates so far, thats IF you have good 60fts. I havent dynoed my car, it does weigh 3688lbs with driver and ran 13.521 but it did it with bolt ons, stock L98, 2k stall and 1.76 60fts. If I ever get things in order here Id like to see what its putting down at the wheels but Id bet its not impressive except for maybe decent torque figures. If I ever get the car dynoed Ill be sure to post my results...

Anything's possible, but the track don't lie, alot of people, myself included, get seriously let down when they get their first timeslip after some mods. I only have factory suspension so I'm losing out on some better short times and that would help, I race my car with a full tank of fuel and I scaled it the other day in racing form and it came in at 3440. The climate of the day will also make a difference, so keep that in mind. This fall weather is near perfect cause the air is cool, humidity is usually low, and if the sun is out, the track is warm for good traction.
