350TPI hit high 7s on 1/8th?
Thats the question of the day for me. I been talking to this mechanic for awhile about working on my car. He seems to think we can get it to hit high 7s fairly easy. Only thing is he seems to think around the price range of $2700. That included of rebuilding the transmission, up the rear, sub frame connectors, 2500 stall....
and of course the engine... Is that too good of a deal?
My car now is a 91 Z28 350TPI, 700r4, 3.23 limited slip... all stock.
I'd like to stay around this price range or around $3k... All of this possible? hit the 7s is the goal (don't have a 1/4 mile track around here).

What are you doing to the motor, because a stock 350 tpi would need a LOT of suspension, driveline and weight removal to come close to a 7 second 1/8th. if you are doing engine mods it can be done.
hey... well for starters... some good heads.. not too much cam, bigger LTRs, and some serious porting on the plenum, and whatever the mechanic thinks of, bigger fuel injectors he mentioned, and of course chip burning fun....
....maybe I am forgeting something
oh yeah... traction, traction, traction....
