Maybe 14.00s. High 13s with good traction.

If you have your carb tuned better with the proper jets, i wouldn't be surprised if you ran mid 13s

Its an LG4 engine right? Those only make like 165 hp stock which is good for low 16's. It will take a ton of mods to get an lg4 into the 13's. I dont think it can be done with the stock heads.

Hard to guess withouth knowing gears, posi?, tires, etc.

That being said; mid 14s at 93ish mph.

Depends on the gearing. Could be anywhere from mid 14's to low 15's

True they are pretty lame engines but I have alot of decent mods done if you look at the mod list. I am hoping for low 14's
I do not know what gears I have. Just that I took the rear end off of an 83 t/a

I had an 86 lg4 5-speed with headers,cat-back,intake manifold, filters, chip,gm dual snorkle intake, 3.73's, dual friction clutch, and drag radials, and low 15's were normal. I really cant see you hitting low 14's.

Hey Cale did you get it running yet? Haven't heard from you in awhile.

As far as what it will run that will depend SO much on the gears, and an '83 TA could have had anything from 2.73's to 3.73's in it.

Actually the V6 cars had deeper gears in them- but you swapped in the TA rear for the disk brakes correct? IF you still have the other rear the carrier and gears can be swapped in.

The TA rear could be anything, my '83 TA had a 3.23 open rear in it with drum brakes.

I suspect the car is capable of mid to high 13's depending on gears, tranny... maybe low 14's if things are really mismatched, though I'm betting that it will acually run high 14's to low 15's, people just don't tend to run fast with mystery meat parts and matching tuning and driving.

If that car runs mid 13's then you shaved off three seconds of what it [LG4] typically runs from the factory. With just bolt ons and a cam swap i dont think you droped three seconds. So good luck with that. Dont get your hopes up from what people tell you. The only way to find out is to run the car.

Yeah I got her running, now it is time to fine tune her. I had some fuel issues with my electric fuel pump and regulator , so i switched to mechanical, and now I am awaiting a slave cyl repair and a few small things before shes on the road....
