Biggest Nitrous Shot

Does anyone know what the biggest shot you can run without having forged internals becuase the forged stuff is twice as much 125?150?200?
Thanx for the help!!

For a V8, 125 is relatively safe. By 150 you start risking damage more in hammering out rod bearings. As far as I'm concerned, anything above 150 should have a forged bottom end.

I agree. The most I'd ever run on a stock bottom end is 150.

I ran 160 hp shot on my stock bottom end all last season. I ran every weekend. I also sprayed 200 the last two weekends of the season, but I wouldn't recomend that large of a shot i only did it because I knew I was going to be pulling the engine after the season. When i tore the engine done however I was totally shocked at how good everything looked. Anyway if you're looking for reliabilty I wouldn't go over a 125.

Contact the ring manufacturer, if it's the stock rings/pistons, then run it on the rich side w/ conservative timing.

150 shot

on my tpi a 150 wet shot has been totally safe. i don't even retard the timing or switch the PROMS... Im on my 27th bottle fill now, which is about 135 1/4 mile runs of juicing without any side effects. My motor is untouched internally and 149,000 miles old. i got the whole history on my cardomain site.....
i beat this car alot too...
