Predictions for the 1st?
I've made a couple changes to my car since the 12.22 run nearly a year ago. Since that run the fuel pump started giving up the ghost and the car was only able to muster high 12's at best. The changes are:
- 1 5/8 edelbrock shorties have been replaced by 1 3/4 hooker long tubes
- single 3 inch has been replaced by dual 3 inch (seat of the pants difference was big)
- just recently, a complete new fuel system with 1/2 inch and -8 line

depending on what rpm you trap at, that exhaust will help you tremendously in the upper end. Cross the line at redline and wouldn't be surprised to see an 11.9x run.

assuming u got the carb/fuel thing all worked out and u would have been running back to normal,
with those new mods.. i see some good gains. i remember a thread that u had with the exhaust experience, where u picked up ALOT of trap speed and ET from going cut out or w/e it was.
this dual exhaust should really open things up
i dont see why a 11 second pass couldnt be obtained as long as u can launch it like u did before!
good luck, i'm prayin the rain doesnt hit

man evil, you need to get that thing to hook up better...i ran a 12.16 @ 110mph with a 1.659 60' time with a peglegged 3.73 rearend with no lca relocation brackets (and i KNOW that both of those were hurting my ability to get the car to hook) and a set of m/t ET Street Radials.
what are you running for suspension and tires?
my only suspension mods that day was a spohn panhard rod and boxed stock lca's in the factory location and a poly t/a mount, stock t/a though...with the lca relocation brackets, the car lifts the wheels off the ground...

Yeah it does need to get hooked up. Tires are hurting me bad since they're old 26x11.50 Hoosier QT Pros. I got that best 60' on the biggest burnout. Far as suspension, spohn torque arm and poly bushings in the control arms, everything else is stock. I'm also not running subframe connectors, think I'll be putting on a set soon and boxing in the control arms. I have a nice area to work on the car now so a few things can get done now hehe.
Last year it was running 111 mph all night except the last run when the one rocker got loose, dropped down to 110 mph and ran a 12.45. The weather isn't looking good yet :/ Friday night suppose to clear up but they're still calling for rain on Sunday, later in the week will give a better idea on what's going to happen for Saturday.

Heh since late last week I've torn into my car again and have been redoing stuff plus cleaning things up. This is one thing that has changed/cleaned up.
pfffft wasn't really happy with the way it came out so out it came!

Took out the heater box to make things cleaner looking. Also made a new aluminum bracket to hold both regulators. Finishing it up tomorrow

The bracket looks nice, but what track allows you to run with the fuel stuff mounted to the FIREWALL??? the last piece of metal to stop reat of car from buring up if something under the hood goes bad!!
Not a good place to mount that stuff at all, looks pretty, but would be very bad in case of a fire and am suprised tech has never said anything to you about it...unless you have'nt tried teching since installation?
Not being a prude, just trying to save you trouble and money should something bad happen....just went through this monday when my dump truck started on fire LOL!! I let it burn for awhile til I remembered I only had liablilty on it....then it was a mad dash for the extinguisher LOL!!

They've never said anything about it to me or a friend who has his stuff on the firewall. Until now, I didn't think there was anything wrong with putting the stuff there
mw66nova, heater box is staying with me to collect dust
I had a heck of a time finding a nice one.
Edit: Looks like I'm not going for the 1st of April
22nd is the next date to run.

No problem, you get first shot at it.
In other news, got a new set of sparkplug wires on tonight and finished plumbing the fuel system, again. If the tech guys give me any grief, it shouldn't be too hard to redo things.
