Where to put race car nitrous bottle
Where have you guys put your bottles. On the flat spot over the axle has it in the sun all the time. Where the spare was is a little harder to get in and requires a remote bottle opener. I have no pass seat although there is an electric panel where is used to be and it could go right behind that. That would have it somewhat shaded and wouldn't require a remote but it is close to the driver. Car has full interior. As I said, what have others done?

Put it on the raised section between the two rear seats (Where the driveshaft goes). That way you just have to put you hand 6 inches behind you to turn the bottle on/off. IMO I like the flat part of the hatch because people can see it and also the sun does keep it hotter. THATS A GOOD THING. Why do you think they sell those bottle blankets to keep it at a certain heat. The sun wont make it that hot. If it is a full out race car then junk you passenger seat and place in in the floorboard. This way its easy to reach and helps offset your weight to make the car more balanced.
