Have you guys noticed that some sites have an "Offical" track time section on their main page? I think this would be a good idea for TGO instead of just having a thread on it.
I think it would be cool if we could do something like this and have it on the main page:
www.Thirdgen.org Track Times List

I'm not crazy about the thread idea myself. I just haven't decided to delete or lock it yet.
I'm on a local forum that has a performance page similar to the above idea simply called timeslips. Members can add or update they're own information and it's all displayed in a nice table. I'm the third fastest NA car and I'm only 17th on the list. The fastest is a turbo Mustang running 6.79 at 208 MPH
Here's what the page looks like

I thought stephen, you had a true race car as well? Alcohol, non street legal, etc?
Dave should really point out the TURBOCHARGER on his 3.1L, lest some crazy V-6er's get the crazy idea 12.6 is achievable...

exactly what does stephen consider his car?
i think it's a full out race car. i don't have a tube
chassis car or a chute (yet) but i still think its a
true race car.

mod313's car is in a registered NHRA class and has a pit crew and crew chief...kinda of a racing team for sure so i guess that makes a true race car

Mine is just a go fast car. Do whatever I want to make it fast. Stay within the rules for safety.
A Stocker has a very strict set of rules as to what can and can't be done and they still go faster than most people can believe. A 305 with full interior and a race weight at or higher than the shipping weight and it's running mid 11's with unported stock heads, a low lift cam and on a 9" slick. Most "street" 305's should only be running 13's or 14's with a better setup. To me that's more of a race car than my go fast car.
Of course most Stockers are far from being able to drive on the street. Some can but not many.

ah, ok. I guess it depends on your definition. I'd trust Stephens definition as being "right", but my personal definition is if it's DOT legal or not. *shrug*.

My definition may not be right with everyone but it's my own personal opinion. Technically anything that participates in an autosports competition can be classified as a race car.

this may not be a big sanctioned series like NHRA, but we have a good bit of cars running the ORSCA series here in the southeast. Rules are some what simple in a few classes. OutlawRacing I run the 7.0 index class.

Best pass so far, N/A,
1.540-60'
4.719-330
94.95-MPH1
7.383-660
9.676-990
118.0-MPH2
11.601-1320
UPDATE: New MPH-120.21, at a slower 11.608 E.T.
When its at the track, its a racecar, and when its on the street, its a street car. Still has A/C, and complete interior. No P/S though, but it WILL be REINSTALLED.
