It breaths Again!!!!
Finally got the engine back together this past week. Really seems to be ALOT healthier than the old setup was. Now time to go to the paint booth tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will improve so I can make it to the track this weekend for opening day!! I will post times when I get it down the track!!!

Re: It breaths Again!!!!
First I tossed the PJ gear drive for a double roller, changed cams, went from a 228*/.472 to a 246*/254* with .495/.510, changed cylinder heads from stock 416's to HEAVILY ported 416's with 1.94 valve, that have been milled
.010, mainly to make sure that the surface was even, but, a little extra compression never hurt. I also added some extensions to the headers to try and help the torque out a little. This new cam and all of the other little stuff that I have done to the heads really seems to have waken the little motor up, but, that is just seat of the pants feel right now, I need some #'s to back anything up. I was planning on painting it this evening, however, my trailer had other ideas, as the trailer brakes were locking up on it whenever I plugged it into the vehicle, took me a little while to find that the pins were switched on the 7 way on the back of the vehicle, by that time it was going to put finishing the car way too late in the evening, so I will take care of that on Sunday. I was planning on racing this weekend, however, with the extended forecast it looks like that won't be happening, so, I will just head out the following Saturday.
