could sum1 tell me what the 0-60 for a 88 trans am 350 tpi auto is????

 

I have a road test for a 1988 Trans AM GTA 350TPI.
0-60 7.4 seconds
1/4mile 15.9 seconds@90mph
225hp/4200rpms
330/3200 torque
braking 60-0=141ft
lateral acc-.87g

Just for note, I had a friend that was getting similar specs with his 88 GTA.
They also test an 88 IROC 350 that did 0-60 in 7.0 and the 1/4 at 15.5@91.7mph

Both tests were from a Motor Trend

They can't drive. Stock 1/4 mile time and trap speed for an 88 350 TPI car is high 14s@90-93MPH.

if MrJ hadnt said anything, I would have. Cuz there aint no freakin way a 350, even stock, will be pullin 15.9s in the 1/4. If thats the case, then I would be blowin the doors off 'em left and right. and 0-60 is somewhere around 6.5, cuz with my mods thats where I'm around.

I didn't say I agreed with the times. I was simply giving information from a magazine article.

 

Yes. High 14's sounds right. High 15's is way too slow. My lightly modded 87 IROC LG4 5-spd runs mid 15's.

 

I had an 87 GTA (350) with just a chip and it went 14.48 best and usually ran 14.70's.

 

i have run a best 0-60 time of 5.9 with my car, listed in my sig.
