4.10 good for drag racing?....or 3.73?

My power range is from 3000 to 6500rpm, T-5 tranny and I'd be using a 26" tire and possibly going up to 28". Or should I stick w/3.73 for now?

Stick with the 3.73 for now. If you're crossing the finish line way below your red line then go to 4.10.

If you go to 28" tires then you'll probably have to go to 4.10 or maybe even 4.56

What you want to is at the end of 4th gear and at the end of the power band. My mustang has 410's with 26 in tires and still have a little more left in it. I am getting 430's soon and this should be okay for me. With 28 in tires, 410's should be ok because I had this setup and it was the right gear. I ran a 10.97 at 123 on that pass.

I would stick with the 3.73's. My friend has a 5.0 with 4.10's, and they are just too much for street tires. If you have slicks or drag radials, maybe 4.10's, but, if only street tires I would go with the 3.73's.
