should my 6 banger be in the 15's?

Last year, with low compression in #5 cylinder, I did a 16.09 at 83, and 16.18 at 85.6 with 2.21 and 2.24 60 foots.

This year I get 2.26 60 foots and go 16.3 at 82. I fixed the compression problem, and had the guy chop of .020 for a slight compression raise, so whats the deal, is my peg legger 3.73 and street tires keeping my monster of a car from hitting 15's?

Your friend's 2000 isn't being driven right or isn't broken in yet then. My 230lb friend ran a 15.2 in his bone stock 96 Camaro with the 3.8. His slowest run of the night was a 15.5

Is that bone stock? 96 V-6 should also be a 3.4 if I'm not mistaken. The car had 2.2 60' and 87 mph with a A4 trans. Not alot to mess up.

The 3.8 was available before the LS1 was. 96 or 97 I think was the first year.
