I would say mid 11's depending on what your heads flow, maybe a bit faster.

Re: and another what will it run!

Low 11's should be possible (maybe even quicker). But not with that stall. I think you would be looking at something around 4000 for best performance.

Re: and another what will it run!

Thanks for the feed back. Yeah the stall is a tci street fighter I bought about 10 years ago. I hear now days you can call a converter company a get a 4000 that drives like a 2000. The heads are the newest comp 195s afr says they flow close to 310 @600. The car feels fast just driving it but Idk about a 10 It would be awesome to get a mid 11.

I don't think it has 10's in it as it sits; but mid 11's shouldn't be a problem as long as it hooks. Some more gear and a 4500 stall should wake her up, but have fun with it the way it is for now! Good luck!

Re: and another what will it run!

well, I took it to the track friday night and it didnt turn out as well as I would have liked!
After a 30 min drive there was rain in the area so i went right to the staging lanes and down the track never even took the air cleaner off!

60 1.86
1/8 7.81 mph 91.30
1/4 12.13 mph 113.64

Next pass I never touch anything just wanted another baseline run
60 1.88
1/8 7.89 mph 90.37
1/4 12.28 mph 111.64
Soon I let off the gas I could tell something was not right and the motor was missing so I pop the hood and noticed the fuel pressure had dropped from 7 psi to 3 and the car was missing bad. I drove it home looked under the valve cover and a rocker was was laying between the valve springs. the pressure was back up to 7psi by the time i got back home.

Re: and another what will it run!

I put the rocker back on and everything seems to be fine. I learned I was not locking the poly locks the correct way. Im not sure when the fuel pressure dropped or what caused it? The car seemed to be hooking up faily well not sure why I didnt have a better 60ft. the car didnt 60ft well with the old motor. maybe the coverter?

Did get some nice pics

Re: and another what will it run!

A lazy 60' could definitely be the converter. Judging by your first pass listed above, the 1/8 MPH is the same as mine when I run 11.60 out the back. Your 1/4 mile MPH might be a little low. That could definitely be a fuel delivery problem. What is your fuel system setup? What was the DA at the track during these runs?

Re: and another what will it run!

I just have the gas tank stumped, a holley blue pump. stock lines and a mallory return regulator. I have no idea what the DA was!

Re: and another what will it run!

What's the diameter of your tire and what RPM are you crossing the stripe? Maybe the converter has a lot of slip. Also, the 60' is at least 2/10ths slow.

The holley blue should be sufficient (but the stock lines might be a crap shoot depending on bends, kinks, etc).
