Wrecked the 89 RS

Sucks, but that is another reason i love these cars, i can get another body for peanuts. Good part is, my Trans Am will look sweet with these wheels.

I will be throwing the 6.0 in the 86 TA, as well as the 12 bolt, should be interesting, 4.30s and a TH400...i think i will need a real cooling system after that.

Frame is bent and for what it would cost to repair if even possible, i can get a roller, so i will be in search of a factory manual trans third gen, straight, and then do a 4.8 with a ca, and the 6 speed, 7800 RPM, and be able to get better fuel economy, just for the hell of it, i just dont need a 6.0 daily driver these days. Heck, i was putting all the street trim back on the RS anyway.

Car went consistent 7.1s in the 1/8th with a manual trans, so with the right converter, although a heavier car b a bit, im sure it will pick up, if it ran the same, it would still prove a manual is better right? LOL

Nitrous converter will be needed as well.

Re: Wrecked the 89 RS

Traffic shut down hard due to street sweepers on the exit to 59 from I10. Did all i could to avoid the rear of a Ford truck, got a piece anyway, all because i sped up to let a 18 wheeler over from the left exit lane that needed to continue east. See what i get for being courteous? LOL

Ouch! - Looks like the hood is repairable, and like you said 3rd gen rollers are too cheap to screw with fixing much damage.

Yep, found a 5 speed v6 91 RS for 800$ just browsing that would have been a great replacement, but it will have to wait.
