Yeah I love the third gens this is my 2nd one. It's 1/8 mile ay windy hollow. It's only a mile from my parents so its ez to test there when I'm off

 

Well bad news fuel pump took a deal after one terrible pass. Goin to chamber in the morning and try again hope for better results

well up early got the pump out fixing to swap in the new aeromotive pump. but this heat is def gettin to me so takin an A/C break haha. this motor combo has been 7.24 in an all stock suspension 3rd gen so lookin for 7.0's in the lighter car this time.

 

Same engine as in your signature? What does the car weigh?

 

Yes same motor and not sure of exact weight haven't weighed it yet. It's all stock interior even the back seat but tubular k member a arms rear suspension bars billet specialties street lite wheels. Fuel cell in rear little stuff done like that. I only weigh 165 so driver isn't to heavy.

 

I'd like to see a car that heavy with that engine combo go a sub 7.5x.

Well the night went good in my eyes. Car has a lot left in it only a 7.62 but the heat has the track bad and cars down as well. Still was able to reach finals in the bracket 2 class were I went red of course. But still had a great first outtin can't wait to tune on it and get it back in the low 7's

 

What kind of 60' and MPH? Congrats on making it to the final!

 

Bad 60 best 1.63 and 89.9 90 mph

 

that's a decent 60 for that mph....the mph matches the ET decently. it may have some left in it, but probably not terribly much. do you have scales at your track so you can weigh the car?

what else is different from this car and the car you ran a 7.24 with this engine it?

 

The difference is the convertor and trans. Which I know I need a bigger convertor and the trans is slipping in the 1-2 shift. Problem is being addressed and convertor being ordered.

 

Well got the car out again tonight and tested. Track wasn't the best buy ran three 7.63's. I think we've figured out the lack of et problem. With the gear change we made over the winter I am now running out of cam about 3/4 track so new cam to be ordered
